The department of Political Science offers complementary courses to BA English and BA Economics from its inception. The department has contributed to the welfare of the college and local communities through advancement in Philosophical, Political and other interdisciplinary approaches. It has always taken keen interest in the study of political philosophy of India and also international political ideas. The learners are given awareness on elite political ideas through explanation, interpretation and evaluation.The department conducts interdepartmental and intercollegiate competitions like quizzes, panel discussions, seminars and debates on the contemporary events in the society on regular basis.
